Four promptbooks are typescript, one is manuscript, and one consists of the printed libretto (New York: Metropolitan Job Printing Establishment, 1877) annotated and containing bound-in stage directions, scene diagrams, and the signature of H. Allen. All promptbooks carry the parallel title "The sweet Marjoram." The dialogue parts are manuscript.
